We describe practical training of the team at the Almaty fire station: first aid, evacuation, actions in smoke, and use of firefighting equipment.
What the team practiced
The sessions took place at the Almaty fire station. Participants practiced providing first aid, evacuating the injured, and acting in a smoke-filled environment.
Practice instead of just theory
The program included working with fire extinguishers and fire hoses, as well as safe exit from the fire zone. We include such sessions with preparing the team for occupational health and fire safety.
